This morningย

Two things I noticed whist observing the disgruntled commuter.

Firstly, I chose to attempt to get to work using the train on a day where strikes are looming.

My husband was able to drop me to a bigger station so I could make a connection. Note even those connections were delayed. Anyhow true to form the train was super packed, standing room only. This young girl had decided to position herself by the door and sit on the floor, I kid you not she had no intention of standing up when we reached a station. I just watched as a fellow passenger with his giant suitcase on wheels just rolled it into her, and then back and rolled it back and then again and back hitting her harder each time until she was forced to stand. Note there was plenty of room to get out, it just seemed that was the only way he wanted to go. Good job it wasn’t me sitting there!!!

I then make my way to the bus at double pace only to be greeted with some twat who wanted to take up the whole pathway, yep, every time I tried to overtake he would walk in my way. Eventually forcing me to go past him via the grass. Due to that I pushed to the front of the queue and made him wait in the cold.

Let’s hope I can get home with little trouble!

As it happens I appear to have made it to work on time! Miracles!

The date

A simple thing you may need to know on a fairly regular basis. It would appear that this knowledge is not important to the F1 racing bus driver this morning. Who in his wisdom let me on the bus and then proceeded to advise me that my ticket was out of date. Needless to say I clearly reminded him that it’s not yet October!

On a more serious note, I will be surprised if he gets through the day without a crash!

Raging ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

You know that little orange red emoji, today that’s me. The highlight of my day, some revolting individual stealing my lunch, add to that a death defying bus ride and confusing train service information and I’m onto a winner.

So the bus turns up late. No surprises there then, only to stop two stops before most of the bus load was due to get off, no apologies no nothing, thankfully there was another bus behind who waited for us. Slightly amused I look a photo of one of their adverts:

I actually think you might do better contacting a fortune teller, having used their phone service before and being treated like an idiot I have to say I wouldn’t recommend it.

Then to the train. The usual from the idiots than call themselves a company. Advertise quite clearly which section of the train is for which route. We get on sit down and they make a further announcement advising actually it’s the other way round!!!! When questioned, the conductor, similarity to the fat controller from the Thomas the tank engine books advised me that they updated the platform announcement after we had all got on and the doors had closed. Really, I mean really did you actually just say that you pompous prick! He Also advised me that a manager was on board and he would take the train to my destination. He said it like we should give him a gold star for doing is fucking job! Behave!

I’m not in the best of moods today so stupidity of this calabiar just annoys the crap out of me.

God forbid they change their minds when it’s time for the train to spilt at the next stop!

Praying for miracles!

About my blog…..

It has been suggested to me on various occasions due to my opinionated nature and the fact that I have something to say about my daily commute and the people I share it with, That I Should blog about it!

To be clear, I am rude but have been considered funny. I write as I see fit and it need not be long and drawn out but sometimes if the experience allows I aim to write a bit more. If I can photo it I will but mainly it’s about my views day to day with the beastly general public.

I commute in the south of England by train and by bus. I link my views to a rather particular train company which have been on strike more than that have been running this year. I travel by bus from the station to my workplace with a company who apparently have won awards. I struggle to comprehend this.

As always all views are my own. If you behave the way I describe people in this blog you should be ashamed and feel free to use this blog as a learning tool, I will not charge you.

Thanks for reading!

With love
